- Ever-Green Energy, Inc. is looking for a Plant Operator Apprentice, under supervision, will work with and assist other plant operators while receiving increasing instruction and experience in the operation and maintenance of the steam and chiller plants. They will provide entry-level support in both areas of operations and maintenance. The individual will learn, assist, and be mentored on performing operator rounds, troubleshooting, preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Minimum requirements are High School Diploma or equivalent entry level-experience in skilled trades such as power plant operation, HVAC, or mechanical maintenance the ability to extract, comprehend, and develop instructions from technical manuals and drawings, technical literature, and other job-related material and to effectively communicate orally and in writing using the English language a strong ability to work in a team environment physically able to climb over and around equipment, lift materials up to 50 pounds, and work with standard tools and equipment and capable of working rotating shifts. Completion of a Power Engineering and Boiler Operator or HVAC technical training program is preferred.
