PIC GROUP, INC. has an excellent opportunity for a Contract Assignment – Control Room Operator
PROJECT INFORMATION: Massachusetts 2nd Class Engineer Licensed Control Room Operator who will be supporting a 260MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine site.
CONTRACT DURATION: Ongoing long-term assignments
HOURLY PAY RATE: DOE
OVERTIME RATE: 1.5
WORK SCHEDULE: 48 hrs. Dupont Schedule
PER DIEM: $167.40 day – 7 days a week
MOB/DEMOB: 3 days ST rate for travel, Lodging, IRS mileage, Meals capped at $75/day
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent further technical education or a degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Massachusetts 2nd Class Engineer License
• 5+ years as a Control Room Operator in a power plant.
• Expertise in natural gas combined cycle technology strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with GE 7E frame turbines
OVERSIGHT: Massachusetts 2nd Class Engineer Licensed Control Room Operator who will be supporting a 260MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine site. The Control Room Operator reports directly to the Operations & Maintenance Manager, and will monitor and control operations, ensuring the efficient and safe production of electricity. The Control Room Operator will contribute to maintaining optimal performance, responding to alarms, and collaborating with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
